El día que confundieron a Manolo ‘el del Bombo’ con Vicente del Bosque
El aficionado más icónico de la selección, Manuel Cáceres Artesero, más conocido como Manolo ‘el del Bombo’, ha fallecido este jueves 1 de mayo a los 76 años de edad. Una figura irrepetible para el combinado nacional. Estuvo apoyando a la selección en 10 mundiales y 8 eurocopas. Se ha recorrido más de medio mundo siguiendo a España y ha tenido anécdotas de todo tipo. Una de las más recordadas fue cuando a Manolo ‘el del Bombo’ le confundieron en Guinea Ecuatorial con Vicente del Bosque. Todos los que estaban esperando a la selección se echaron encima de Manolo para pedirle una foto.

España llegaba al país africano para jugar un amistoso ante Guinea Ecuatorial el 17 de noviembre de 2013. El combinado nacional entrenado por Vicente del Bosque ganó 1-2 con goles de Cazorla y Juanfran.
