Carvajal recibe la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad de Madrid: “Un honor absoluto”
Dani Carvajal, jugador del Real Madrid y de la Selección Española, ha recibido la Medalla de Oro de la Comunidad de Madrid y ha reconocido que, como madrileño de Leganés, este reconocimiento supone “un honor absoluto”.
Carvajal ha dicho que disfruta “todos los días” de su tierra, de su comunidad y de su país y ha ensalzado que Madrid es una comunidad “fantástica para vivir, que no para de crecer” y que “no toca techo nunca”.
El jugador del Real Madrid ha zanjado que está “orgulloso de ser de Madrid y de llevar esta bandera por todas las partes del mundo”.
Florentino Pérez acompañó a ‘Carva’ en el acto de recogida de un reconocimiento que también recibieron en su día madridistas ilustres como Iker Casillas, Vicente del Bosque o Alfredo Di Stéfano: “Sin el presidente esta carrera tan exitosa no habría sido posible”.

La presidenta madrileña, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, fue la encargada de entregarle la medalla, destacando de él su generosidad y su humildad: “Se ha ganado un lugar de honor en la historia del deporte español”.
“Esta medalla premia un palmarés logrado con muchísimo sacrificio”, ha dicho Díaz Ayuso bromeando con que “Carvajal tiene más Champions que el Barcelona en toda su historia”.
