Gobierno oficializa estado de emergencia: estos son los 157 distritos de Lima, Arequipa y otras regiones afectadas por lluvias

The government of Dina Boluarte has declared a state of emergency in 157 districts across Lima, Arequipa, Piura, La Libertad, and 16 other regions due to the intense rainfall that has occurred since the beginning of February.

Through Supreme Decree No. 021-2025-PCM, it has also been established that among the items to be made available for donation are: medications, sunscreen, vaccines, medical equipment and related items, insect repellents, food, beverages, clothing, and more.

Recently, the Arequipa airport had to cancel dozens of flights for the last 12 days due to weather conditions. Meanwhile, in Ica, schools and health centers have been affected by flooding.
