Husillos acepta con deportividad su eliminación: “Yo he repartido y a mí me han dado también”
Óscar Husillos aceptó con deportividad su eliminación en los 400 libres del Europeo de pista cubierta de de Apeldoorn (Países Bajos). El ‘Expreso de Astudillo’ se quedó fuera de los puestos de acceso a semifinales.
Su carrera no fue limpia. Tuvo más que palabras con el neerlandés Jonas Phijffers y el británico Alex Haydock-Wilson para coger la calle libre y luego sufrió un segundo encontronazo, a la entrada de la última curva y de nuevo con Phijffers. Husillos ya no pudo retomar el ritmo de carrera y quedó sin opciones. Entró sexto y último de su serie.
“Yo me he metido entre dos y les he frenado. A mí me han metido el codo y me han tocado también. Casi me voy por fuera. Al final hay que ser listo en esta vida o tomar decisiones en centésimas de segundo. Yo he repartido y también me han dado. Ha sido un 50-50″, comentó Husillos en zona mixta.
