Ministro del Interior anunció que el Gobierno busca declarar estado de emergencia económica, social y ecológica tras situación en Venezuela

Interior Minister Armando Benedetti announced that the Government plans to declare an economic, social, and ecological state of emergency due to the situation at the Venezuela border.

This measure aims to enable new protective, preventive, and humanitarian assistance actions for both nationals and Venezuelan migrants. To move forward with this plan, a Unified Command Post (PMU) will be established in Cúcuta to define the scope of the decree and the strategies to be implemented.

The primary objective, emphasized Benedetti, is to respond in a coordinated and effective manner to the needs arising in the border area.
