Vicky Dávila cuestionó al ministro de Salud por sus declaraciones sobre el menor que murió esperando un medicamento: “Lo más indolente”
Presidential candidate Vicky Dávila criticized the statements made by Health Minister Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo regarding the death of Kevin Acosta, a seven-year-old boy with hemophilia who passed away in the intensive care unit at La Misericordia hospital in Bogotá after an accident while awaiting medication that he had not received since December 2, 2025.
The Minister of Health explained that the child “suffered a cranioencephalic injury” after falling from a bicycle and indicated that individuals with such conditions should not engage in “risky” activities.

In response, the journalist and presidential candidate stated that the official and the national government “are the most heartless that have ever existed,” labeling Jaramillo as “stupid.”
“It was the lack of medication, ‘stupid.’ This corrupt government and its Health Minister Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo are the most indolent that have ever been seen. Now he says that Kevin Arley died because of a bicycle accident,” Dávila expressed.
For Vicky Dávila, the national government “killed” the child, recalling the complaints made by the mother two months prior.
“The mother of the 7-year-old boy reported that her son with hemophilia had gone two months without receiving medication from the EPS, under the Government’s control. The Government killed him,” Vicky Dávila asserted.
