Donald Trump Claims Melania Is a ‘Big Movie Star’ Now: ‘I Always Say There’s Not Room in One Family for Two Stars’

Donald Trump continues to gloat about wife Melania following the theatrical release of her Amazon MGM-backed documentary of the same name, which has grossed $16 million in theaters worldwide. The movie, directed by Brett Ratner, follows the First Lady in the 20 days leading up to Trump’s second presidential inauguration.

“She has a very successful movie out right now, like number one. Can you believe this?” Trump said dring his “Board of Peace” event in Washington, D.C. (via Daily Beast). “Big movie star, and I always say it’s trouble, because I always say there’s not room in one family for two stars. I told her that we can’t have two stars in one family, so I don’t know what that means. It’s not good.”

Trump added he’s proud of the real Melania, noting the documentary “Melania” has “become the biggest-selling documentary in 20 years.
