The question arose during a Q&A session on her Instagram account, where a follower asked: “Do you think your dad will end his life single because of his way of being?”. Andrea’s response was swift and clear: “My dad… I think I’ve never seen him single in his life, never. That man is never going to stay single.”

With this statement, the young woman revealed her views on her father’s romantic future, suggesting that regardless of his current situation, she does not see him as someone who will live his life alone.

Andrea Petro’s revelation comes amid various controversies surrounding her father’s personal life, including rumors of infidelity and public criticisms of his persona. Despite acknowledging his separation from Alcocer, they still maintain the legal binding of marriage, as the divorce has not been formalized.

In fact, the President has defended Alcocer on several occasions, who continues to fulfill her role as First Lady, due to scandals involving her alleged lavish spending in Stockholm (Sweden) despite being on the notorious Clinton List.

Among the controversies surrounding the president is an incident that caused considerable buzz: an alleged infidelity with a woman in Panama, photographed strolling with her. Despite the speculation and his lack of commentary on the relationship, many interpreted the situation as indicative of an unsettled love life.

Although Petro did not deny the relationship and simply smiled when comedian Alejandro Riaño questioned him about it on his show The Juanpis Show, remarking “that’s the Great Colombia, my brother”, the implications of his behavior heightened interest in his private life.

In fact, when he was photographed in Panama with the woman, his opponents began speculating that she was a transgender person. These comments escalated to the point where the president felt compelled to clarify on his X account that he is heterosexual, does not possess homophobic attitudes, but that wasn’t his situation; however, he did not deny the extramarital relationship with the First Lady in his message.

For her, Gustavo Petro’s figure has never been and will never be that of a single man; despite personal hardships and political tensions he faces in his administration, Andrea firmly believes her dad will never be alone.
