Uno de los momentos más comentados de su participación en ‘El Valor de la Verdad’ fue cuando Gabriela Herrera accionó el botón rojo en la pregunta 21, evitando que Shirley respondiera si se había enamorado de Jefferson Farfán. Al respecto, Arica indicó que no tenía claro por qué Herrera intervino, pero sospecha que su expresión facial la delató.
La pregunta fue reemplazada por otra igualmente impactante: “¿Te ofrecieron 50 mil soles por sexo?”. Su respuesta afirmativa le permitió llevarse el gran premio de la noche.
En otra temática, Rodrigo González ‘Peluchín’ compartió su opinión sobre la relación entre Shirley Arica y Jefferson Farfán. De acuerdo con el presentador de ‘Amor y Fuego’, la modelo y el exfutbolista solo estuvieron juntos en un par de ocasiones, y después de esos encuentros, fue ella quien siguió buscando contacto. “Lo que tengo entendido es que no tuvieron más de dos reuniones, y tú eras quien insistía,” afirmó en su programa.
